After my Family, of course, I am passionate about Flowers, the color Red and both Photography and Digital Art.
Although I have had diverse professional careers, even in grade school I used a small camera to document my world.
Later, serious photography began as a way to record the life and times of my first child. I received a Nikon as a ‘birth.day’ gift from my husband and with a beautiful, brand-new model, I improved those skills with loving practice and any and all available outside source material.  Really  … where was the internet?

Our ‘new’ baby is now 30 and that first film camera was updated, but not before the paint on all the buttons were rubbed bare. I am essentially a self-taught holdover from the b/w film/darkroom days, who still finds that process aesthetically pleasing, if now impractical. I do, however print my own work and consider that merely the final stage in the process of creating an image. My first brownie camera became more sophisticated but as photographers the unique vision we each bring to our work remains constant without real regard to the tools used.

I shoot both film and digital and am available to do wedding, engagement and special events. I also document lifetime events: your maternity, newborn and family portraits.
